Assistant Cook
Joesph Bowmer
I moved to Nashville 27 years ago with my partner. I am a new doggy dad of 2 adorable Cheagles. A few of my favorite hobbies include spoiling my pups with love, caving, kayaking and cooking. I am a wine club member at Country Heritage Winery and love spending time with my friends over a cheeseboard and a bottle of wine.
I was a volunteer firefighter, first responder for a few years. I helped with silent auction collections during that time. I started volunteering at Mother's Cupboard when it was in Bean Blossom for a short time, then was reintroduced to the new location and became a volunteer cook/server.
My full-time job is ASM at Family Dollar, where we collect donations year round for God's Grace, Mother's Cupboard, St. Vincent DePaul, The Troops at Atterbury, The Humane Society and more.
Working at Mother's Cupboard puts a smile on my face everytime I am there. I enjoy cooking and serving meals to the community.
