Have you heard of SNAP?

SNAP is, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, this is a federal program that helps families with low income buy food they need for good nutrition. These benefits are provided monthly on an electronic debit card that can be used at grocery stores. This allows families to spend less of their own money on food allowing them to use it for other critical expenses. The amount of benefits received depends on the number of individuals in your family and your monthly net income. 

Quick Eligibility Guide- 

  • Only US citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents are eligible.

  • Need names, birthdates, and social security numbers for all household members.

  • Monthly gross income.

  • Assets. 

  • Deductions like medical, child support, or dependent care costs.
